Kelli Hewitt, RDH
Kelli Hewitt is a native Texan and has been a dental hygienist for many years. She stays current on dental research by attending continuing education classes throughout the year and from articles received in dental periodicals. What she loves most about being a dental hygienist is helping someone reach their dental goals and maintain optimal health. She has been told by many patients that although she has a gentle touch, the cleanings feel very thorough and detailed. It is important to her that you are comfortable and have a great experience each time. When she is away from the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Jeff and their little dog Mia. They love to travel, watch movies; appreciate good restaurants, art, culture, and spending time with friends and family.
Beverly Lauderdale
Beverly joined the Colonial Dental Team in October of 2011 as our office manager. Prior to that date, she managed a private practice in Irving for 10 years. When the opportunity arose to shift gears, it was her first and only consideration to join the highly credentialed staff of Colonial Dental.
Beverly’s undergraduate studies are at The University of Texas at Arlington and she holds a massage and reflexology license from the North Texas School of Swedish Massage. She is also CPR certified and holds her BLS Instructor license. In her free time, she is an avid foodie and loves spending time with her family.
Amanda Adame
Amanda was born and raised in the great state of Texas, with a huge family and a strong foundation. A perfect day includes a little retail therapy and rest and relaxation. One of her biggest accomplishments to date is her healthy and lively 7 year old boy. He keeps her on her toes and a step ahead of his boyish antics. This marks her second year in the dental field and she absolutely swells at the opportunity to experience the daily evolution of dentistry.
Amanda is currently the newest member to the Colonial Dental team. Seeing and learning the technological advancements in the dental industry, keeps her motivated to stay ahead of the curve.
Gina Wagers, RDA, Lead Dental Assistant
Gina graduated as a registered dental assistant in 2010 from Kaplan College, with honors. She has served as a student ambassador at the college and has continued to help others with their education. She has been in the dental field for 3 years. Of her many passions, one is to contribute with the doctor to improve a patient's smile and educate them on how to improve their overall health. "Nothing is better than seeing a patient smile with confidence."
Although Gina grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, she has called the DFW area her second home for the past 4 years. While not in the office, Gina enjoys watching her favorite baseball team, the Texas Rangers, with her two young boys Konner, Jaxson and long time boyfriend Steven. She loves everything outdoors; and in Texas who wouldn't!
Dana Velasquez, Dental Assistant
Dana was born and raised in West Texas and moved to DFW from Amarillo nearly four years ago. She's married to Anthony, her husband of 8 years. In their spare time, they enjoy travelling, watching a good movie, or spending time with family where Family Game Night can get quite competitive. Dana's very excited about joining the Team at Colonial Dental, learning the in's and out's of dental assisting, and growing as a team member.
